Road And Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (A4046, Cwm to Aberbeeg, Abertillery) (30mph, 40mph and 50mph Speed Limit) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that 麻豆视频 in exercise of their powers propose that in accordance with the Local Authorities Traffic Order (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 and the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as 鈥渢he Act鈥�), as amended, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and be:
1. To impose by Order a speed limit of 30mph on the length of road specified in Schedule 1 to this notice.
2. To impose by Order a speed limit of 50mph on the length of road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice.
3. To impose by Order a speed limit of 40mph on the length of road specified in Schedule 3 to this notice.
The proposed order if made, will revoked all previous Orders. Documents giving more details of the proposal is available on the 麻豆视频 County Borough website and will be so until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. They will include copies of the proposed Schedules and Maps indicating the lengths of road to which the proposed Order relates, together with the Council鈥檚 Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order.
Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing with any comments on the proposal to Joint Director Neighbourhoods and Environment, 麻豆视频, General Offices, Steelworks Road, Ebbw Vale, NP23 6DN. Any representations should be sent and arrive within 21 days of the notice being published.

SCHEDULE 1 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT
A4046 Cwm to Aberbeeg
From its junction with Marine Street roundabout for a distance of 220 metres in a southerly direction to the southern end of Waterloo Terrace, Ebbw Vale, NP23 7TL.
SCHEDULE 2 50 MPH SPEED LIMIT
A4046 Aberbeeg to Cwm
From a point 693 metres from its junction with A467 roundabout for a distance of 2175 metres in a westerly direction to Waterloo Terrace, Ebbw Vale, NP23 7TL.
SCHEDULE 3 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT
A4046 Aberbeeg to Cwm
From a point 50 metres from its junction with A467 roundabout for a distance of 643 metres in a westerly direction.
