With grant funding, ABM has successfully installed Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, a major upgrade that will streamline operations, reduce duplication, and improve workflow across the business. The new system will also allow customer orders placed via the company’s website to be transferred directly into production, increasing speed and accuracy.  The company has also invested in a new variable‑speed air compressor, which is expected to reduce electricity consumption by around 10%, supporting both cost savings and environmental responsibility.

Gareth Bowen, Director of Adhesive Backed Materials Ltd, said:

“Items purchased with the grant funding received from Â鶹ÊÓƵ Council will help us work toward our long‑term goals at a faster pace. Each member of our team has grown up in Â鶹ÊÓƵ, so it’s great to see support going to home‑grown small businesses.â€

Councillor John Morgan, Cabinet Member, Economy and Place, said:

Development, added: “It was great to visit ABM and see their manufacturing facility. With the support of the Business Development Grant, the company will be able to improve efficiency and reduce their energy consumption.â€
